A Personal Approach to Bespoke Highland Tours and Whisky Experiences
I’m based in the Highlands, near the Royal Burgh of Tain, just north of Inverness.
For over a decade, whisky — and in particular Single Malt Scotch — has been both my profession and my passion. I’ve spent years working as a brand ambassador and host at a leading Highland distillery, welcoming visitors from all over the world and helping them discover whisky in a way that feels approachable, engaging, and enjoyable.
Through private tastings and bespoke tours, I now bring that experience directly to you — creating relaxed, well-paced whisky experiences that are as much about conversation and atmosphere as they are about what’s in the glass.

About your host
Whisky continues to intrigue me — from the distinctive plop when opening a bottle, to the way a dram’s character can evolve with time, air, or the addition of a little water.
Over the years, this curiosity has shaped my professional life. I’ve had the privilege of working in the whisky industry for more than a decade, hosting tastings, guiding visitors, and representing a premier Highland distillery brand in its home setting.
What I enjoy most is sharing that knowledge and enthusiasm with others — whether you’re completely new to whisky or already have a few favourite drams. My approach is always relaxed, welcoming, and free from jargon. There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to enjoy whisky — only what you enjoy.
Originally from Germany, I’ve called the Highlands of Scotland home for over 25 years. With a background in hospitality and experience working with guests from around the world, I place great value on creating experiences that feel personal, unhurried, and genuinely enjoyable.
