Whisky Tasting events can be individually tailored, and are uniquely carried out at your venue of choice, so everyone can join in and enjoy the experience. Travel and setup within twenty road miles of the Royal Borough of Tain is included. Whether it is Smoke and Fire of Islays peated whiskies you like to discover or the intricacies of Cask strength whiskies. A few sample tastings are attached below.
Furthermore you might have a special Jubilee to celebrate and like to sample a particular vintage or combine whisky and chocolate at a tasting, there are several ways to appreciate the subtle and sometimes intense aromas of Scotch Whisky.
Just drop me a line and I will offer some suggestions and work with you to create a personal tasting event, small or large to fit almost any budget and whisky type. In addition to traditional tastings, they can be tailored to a particular whisky region or flavour profile i.e. peated or non-peated whiskies. They can also be Brand specific or encompass a very particular “vintage”.
As a guideline a five-dram tasting starts at £44 per person, with a more tailored experience starting at £82 per person. An experience will last in the region of 80 minutes and clients are encouraged to ask questions and get involved if they wish to do so. Prices based on up to four customers with discounts available on larger numbers.
This quintet of whiskies contains characterful whskies from four different regions in Scotland including Glen Scotia from Campbeltown and a special Daftmill from the Lowlands. We will also sample a Port Wood finish from Glenmorangie and a Sherry cask matured Single cask dram from GlenAllachie in Speyside known for its rich and fruity whiskies.
This particular selection is showcasing the mastery of distillation by Macallan with its Double Cask release. Included is also a delicate Islay whisky, namely an Ardbeg 19 year old maturation. We are also tasting a 'chocolate' malt from the Highlands, Glenmorangie Signet. The Highlight however is 26 year matured Glendronach Single cask.
The line up represents the Crème de la crème of Single Malt Scotch Whisky! Representing the Lowlands will be a Rosebank, distilled in the 1990s. The collection will include a rare Port Cask bottling from Glenfarclas and two separate and very different Campbeltown whiskies, one of them a 25 year old Private cask from Springbank never available for retail.
